Cod with Mashed Potatoes Cooking Recipe

Cod with mashed potatoes is cooked according to this Swedish recipe. Prepare the fish, wash, cut and cook with the addition of carrots, parsley, onions, bay leaves, salt and pepper.

When the cod is cooked, transfer it to a frying pan and place in the oven for 3-5 minutes.

Peel the potatoes, rinse and boil in salted water.

After the potatoes are cooked, drain the water, cover the potatoes with a lid and place in the oven to dry for 5-7 minutes.

Make mashed potatoes, add 2 tbsp. melted butter, hot milk and mix well.

Grease a frying pan or baking sheet with butter, place the fish, place an even layer of mashed potatoes on top, sprinkle with butter and bake in the oven until golden brown.

As a side dish for cod with mashed potatoes, you can serve cucumbers, vegetable salad or gherkins.
